Bobcat Goldthwait's movie sounds AMAZING

And the 'cat himself will be there!

Description:

Ever flip through channels and after seeing the intolerable American Idol contestants, moronic Glenn Becks, and mind-numbing reality-shows, andsuddenly have the urge to go postal? So has the protagonist in Bobcat Goldthwait’s new pitch-black comedy about a socially abused, lonesome man who decides our society has a fever, and the only prescription is a double-dose of shotgun spray.

After Frank (Joel Murray) is snubbed by his ex-wife and daughter, gets canned from his dead-end job, and discovers he has a terminal illness – all in one day – he finally breaks. Figuring the end has come, his bucket list turns into a hit list as he massacres an entire realty-show family. When Roxy (Tara Lynne Barr) witnesses the carnage and is delighted at the prospect of exterminating the brainless pests who have infested our once brilliant country, a Bonnie & Clyde-eque journey begins. This daring and uproarious exploration into Goldthwait’s dark fantasy will make you laugh, gasp, and applaud at the most inappropriate yet bittersweet violence.

lawds, the festival catelogue is 148 pages long. Is there a condensed fil list anywhere?

You can look by title, but only 20 per page so I'd rather have the 148 page catalog. Did you find it online or was it a physical copy? I can't find it online

No way. Bobcat gets the gas face.

Since I feel like I'm rarely negative on here, let me get it all out and say that World's Greatest Dad was one of the few movies to stir a really active dislike in me over the last few years.

Ugh, their site is nearly unusable. I clicked on the calendar entry for today and got an Access Denied message. Have to scroll through the clunky PDF instead.

Not a whole lot is grabbing me. I'm curious about the Japanese Smuggler:

"A failed actor named Ryosuke (Satoshi Tsumabuki) takes a part-time job at a pachinko parlor. After racking up a huge debt, he’s forced to take a smuggling job from a yakuza company chief (Yasuko Matsuyuki) who offers him 50,000 yen per successful delivery.

Unfortunately for Ryosuke, the reason for this big payout is that his new job actually entails disposing of corpses in the middle an escalating gang war, and making even the slightest mistake could prove deadly."

But 9:45 on a Sunday = meh.

God Bless America was great! Last night I was at the hippie-ish afterparty of my friends' wedding, when a man some of you know as J0hn Sn3ll said hey you should come meet my friend, and, well.......

I knew this already but the film fest web site is a piece of crap. My first attempt to purchase tickets errored out. I tried again and it seemed to work. Neither attempt triggered any sort of confirmation email. And logging into my online banking just now I noticed that I have been billed TWICE. Grrrrrrrr. Sent a message to their contact email address but not holding my breath.

Anyone else see guy maddin's keyhole tonite? Thoughts? Loved it myself except when the dvd showed multiple glitches near the beginning. Weak. Isabella rossalinni is still fantastic and for a weirdo creepy surreal film my attention was well kept. Netflix it when it comes on dvd.
